Recently we have seen a growth in the number of women having abdominoplasty (or tummy tuck) post childbirth. Many women suffer the dreaded overhang of skin which, despite exercise and diet, is just impossible to shift. One such woman was our very own patient coordinator Annette Monaghan who underwent surgery with Mr Vijh for exactly this problem. “I certainly wasn’t fat, I have always weighed around 9 stone. The problem was that the overhang of skin meant many clothes were uncomfortable to wear or simply weren’t flattering. I had my procedure with Mr Vijh and it’s made all the difference. It’s restored my confidence, which is exactly what I wanted”

As with all procedures, there are certain risks. Annette was fully informed about these (as we do with all our patients) prior to the procedure. The majority of patients have the same experience as Annette; a very good problem free outcome precisely in line with her expectation. “Managing the expectation is a key part of the consultation process”, explains Mr Vijh, lead surgeon with The Beauty Gurus. “There’s no point giving a patient an expectation of an outcome that I cannot achieve…I will only end up with an unhappy patient.”

If you are considering a tummy tuck, why not give us a call and ask to talk to Annette? She can tell you of her first hand experience with Mr Vijh. Alternatively, come and see us at one of our clinics in London, Hereford, Birmingham and throughout the West Midlands. Whether it’s a tummy tuck, breast augmentation (boob job), facelift or any other type of procedure you are considering, we can help.  Contact us at  The Beauty Gurus and we can be reached on 0121 794 2369
